Mouth of Kindness

Hey Girls-

So it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. Sorry! Several of you have mentioned gossip in class or asked question regarding this age-old struggle that all of us women face. I found something the other day and wanted to share it with y'all. I'll have copies for anyone who wants it on Wednesday and Sunday. I hope your all having a great week.

Why don't y'all comment on how your week is going and what you're doing for your challenge this week since I wasn't there Sunday? I'd love to hear about it.

        My Dear Sister,
Your God has called you to use that mouth of yours for His great glory.
Don't just add to the noise.
Become a real woman who opens her mouth with wisdom.
God wants the Law of Kindness on your tongue and the love of Christ in your heart.
Never forget: Kindness is not a weakness!
When you're wearing down, head to Christ and His people and let them build you back up.
Always remember: His yoke is KIND. Make sure it's the only yoke you wear.
Let the One who led you to His mercy lead you on with cords of kindness.
Now, get out there and build a welcoming fire in a cold world!
Live by the Law of Kindness!

I love you girls, I really do.

  1. hey kristen
so our challenge was to show mercy to someone who we dont really think deserves it and it has been really hard ! because the person that i need to is the hardest to be nice to because of our past . but i am trying my hardest .

  2. Girl! I AM SO EXCITED THAT YOU ACTUALLY READ THE BLOG AND MADE A COMMENT!!!! I want to bake you a cake or something. I feel like you should get a reward! (Yeah, I'm such a nerd.) :)

That's a pretty challenging challenge. I'm 30 and still struggle with that. It's very hard to be nice to someone when they don't let you be nice to them, you know? I feel like when people are mean to me (or mean to my Jesus) then they're making their choice and that's that. But one HUGE thing I learned shortly after marrying Bear is that I'm not the one to decide whether or not someone's making that choice. I've been commissioned by Jesus to love with His love, regardless of how people treat me. It's really hard and I honestly don't like doing it. It's much easier to be nice to people who are nice to me. :) Just remember....

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32

I'm SO grateful that Jesus didn't hold my past against me. ;)
